Enso Dojo

Enso Dojo, located in Olathe Kansas serves as hombu for Bushi-Ryu. The school is conveniently located on K-10, only about 20 minutes from Lawrence and with easy highway access from all over the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Currently, adult classes are held Monday-Thursday at 7:30pm. Classes are officially one hour long; however, often instructors will stay and offer to continue instruction for those interested. Children's class are currently offered Wednesday evening at 6:30pm and Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. The children's classes run about 45 minutes depending on the attention span of the class.

Bushi-Ryu is the foundational system of martial arts taught at Enso Dojo. In addition to training in the system, students interested in various forms of competition receive attention targeted toward building successful, confident competitors. The head instructors each have over 20 years of competitive experience, including Judo, boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, American Kickboxing, and MMA, at both the amateur and professional levels.

In addition, they have trained top-ranked kickboxing, Judo, and MMA competitors. However, Bushi-Ryu is a self-defense oriented system and competition is never the main focus of any student's martial career. Additionally, no students are pushed toward competition.
